Step 2: Digital Mapping of Your Tooth
Next, CEREC’s computer software captures precise images of your mouth. This digital approach replaces traditional putty impression trays, which many patients find uncomfortable. The result is a detailed digital map that becomes the blueprint for your new crown.

Step 3: Crown Design and On-Site Milling
The digital map guides the CEREC system as it designs and mills your custom-made ceramic crown right here in our office. No outside lab is involved. No days or weeks of waiting. Your permanent crown is created on-site while you relax.

Step 4: Final Fitting and Bonding
Once the crown is ready, Dr. Burkett or Dr. Ing checks the fit, bite alignment, and color match against your surrounding teeth. Any fine adjustments are made to ensure the restoration feels natural and comfortable. The crown is then permanently bonded to your prepared tooth, and you leave the office with the final result in place.

• Avoid chewing on hard objects, such as ice or pen caps, that could chip the ceramic.
